I shouldn't really call it Hell week. It was probably the first time I've EVER worked for more than 40 hours in a week though.
A lot of the time throughout, I felt like I was running unlucky. While this was probably true to a certain point, I honestly wasn't playing very well. I played a number of hands poorly, even when winning them. I limped with KK in the SB, let J5 see a flop AND turn to get a AQKT board, and then reraised his strength bet all in only to not improve. Doesn't sound that horrible, but it was ugly.
SNG strategy is not really the issue, I don't think. I know enough SNG strategy to fill a book (idea). I think it was that I was playing too many tables!
As many people who tell me "how can you remember what's going on?", I would say it's a set in stone strategy. But then I realized it's really not.
My game is a hybrid between virgin tight and prostitute looseness. And it always depends on the situation, but WAY too often have I been checking in spots where if I were playing 16, I would absolutely follow through with a C-bet.
When I run bad (losing an abnormal amount of crucial all ins), it seems like I am winning a lot of small pots and losing a lot big ones. Need to get back to basics for next week.

Also, I made that $2,000 for my VPP bonus, but I ended up LOSING to jnfpoker - who put up just under 1600 points :. Not only did he take me for $500, he bumped me off the leaderboard! From 15th and $80, to 16th and squat. Ah well. So including bonuses and bets:
WEEK PROFIT - $7,542.00 or $179.57 bucks an hour.
Next week, I really want to make some $ on both leaderboards. I am considering playing the 18-mans to start off the week, as I have absolutely no shot to win the Low Orbit otherwise.
Oh, and some chick at one of my tables last night said she just won her 6th Step 6 ($5k ish). I've played against her before and she's decent, but nothing special. I am quite sure that those Steps will be in my near future, I just have to organize a gameplan for them.
Alright, well it's been a busy busy week but I suppose those numbers make it worthwhile at the end of it.

Busy Week
I set out this week to play 1,000 SNGs. I was inspired by ZeeJustin, from like 3 years ago. I remember thinking that playing 12 tables was nuts. I play 20 at once now. Badass.
I also started to venture into the $105+9s. I don't know why, but I've always thought the guys who played those were regulars of the $114s, like I have at the $60s. But it's pretty much the same guys, and I feel like I'm better than every single one of them. If nothing else, I'm equally good and therefore the positive ROI will have to be supplied by the fishies.
Whenever I start a SNG, I block the images of all my opponents, just to keep things a little more clear when I have so many going. When I play sessions where I am blocking a lot of images, I am happy. It means it's an opponent I haven't played against.
I have a list in my head of like 400 players who I recognize, and I'm surprisingly able to use that information quickly, and establish a gameplan for each particular table.
I think I have been too over zealous lately about Bubble Play. As a shortstack I don't show as much patience as I possibly should. I think I might have missed out in a couple cashes this way. Oh well, I was still trying to play for first.
It's Thursday night (technically Friday morning) and so far this week, I've played 765 SNGs. I should play a double session to get to 800, but it's late and I've already had a great day. Still have about 10 hours of play to to do. I'll get in 5 hours in the afternoon, and get to 900. Play a big long 100 game session to close off the week Saturday, and see if I can put up a score better than 1386 (ugh).
I made a bet this week with jnfpoker for $500 for the Uranus High Orbit leaderboard, and it doesn't look like he's even going to come close, so thats good news for me. I trust him to pay me, but we'll see on Sunday.
I've also decided that I'm going to hit Supernova Elite next year, and I hope to do it before half the year is over. That will give me FPP bonuses up the ass, and I will be making a sick amount just in points alone. I'm not sure when I'm going to cash the points out, I've been building them for the year.
Although, I did have to spend 50,000 of them the other day to unlock my 200,000 VPP $2,000 bonus. Worked that off tonight and with my 10th place spot on the leaderboard (probably finish 14th or 15th if I'm lucky), I will probably get an extra $80. So my numbers for this week are...
$60s 601
$114s 164
Profit $3,694.50 Hours 34
VPP $2,000 Wage $229.40/Hour
BOP $80
BET $500
FPP $ $1,255
TOTAL $7,799.50
This is going to sound terrible, but I've had the worst week too. The bonuses are just so huge, and the more you play the more you get. You can make an argument for being a losing player at the $225s and still playing them for a profit, from the points.
Anyways, I'm not done. I set out to play 1,000 and that's what I'm going to do. I'll post those numbers and talk about how I ran next time.
